St. Cloud Pavement Pounders

St. Cloud Pavement Pounders is a non-profit 501(c)(3) running club established in 2001 in Saint Cloud, Florida.  The founders, Michael and Dayci Snyder, wanted to share their love of running and the health benefits associated with the sport with others in the Osceola County area.  The club is known for its encouragement of all members and guests, no matter what their level of fitness is.

Tuesday - 6:30 p.m. everyone

Wednesday - 6:30 p.m. everyone (Kissimmee)

Thursday - 6:45 p.m. walkers and run/walkers

                     7:00 p.m. runners

Saturday - 6:30 a.m. - Lakefront (by marina) 

Sunday - 7:00 a.m.  (Ladies run)  Meet at parking lot on Mass and Lakefront

What We Do

The St. Cloud Pavement Pounders (SCPP) meet on a weekly basis on Tuesday and Thursday in downtown Saint Cloud at Dicey Reilly's (formerly O'Doherty's) on New York Avenue in front of City Hall.  Tuesday nights - open run night: everyone leaves at 6:15 p.m.  Thursday nights - Walkers and run/walkers leave at 6:15 p.m., and runners at 6:30 p.m. 

On Wednesday's, SCPP ventures into Kissimmee with a 5K course beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Vintage Vinos at City Centre in Kissimmee.  Please be there by 6:15 p.m. for introductions.

Club members have the opportunity of racking up "points" during the monthly club challenges hosted by club members during the year at different locations throughout Saint Cloud.  We're known for the goofy awards handed out at the end of each club challenge and the endless food buffet. 

Our members are comprised of different fitness levels with different goals in mind.  From our marathon champions to our fast and furious walkers, we welcome all that want to incorporate fitness in their daily routine in a non-intimidating environment.

St. Cloud Pavement Pounders is a proud member of the Road Runners Club of America.
